For 19 years, officer Allen Englert has been part of the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department. For the last four years, he has served as a detective in the arson and fire investigation unit. While his primary work is important, we recognized Allen for a community contribution he makes in his off time. When he isn't spending time with his wife Elizabeth and children Bradley and Amanda, Allen serves as a key member of the gameday operations and security staff at Butler University.

All of our fans enjoy a safe visit to Hinkle Fieldhouse to see the Butler Bulldogs, and especially Butler Blue III.

The award was presented by Carl Heck, Associate AD for Internal Operations and our own Jeff Chapman. Please join us as we congratulate Allen Englert as today's Chapman Champion!
